Images of the rumored Peugeot 4007 sport utility vehicle are leaked around the web. This SUV is based on the new Mitsubishi Outlander and will be built on the same assembly line as its counterpart.
Although there are Peugeot design cues in the front fascia, the rear and body style remains much the same as the Outlander. However, there are no official confirmation that this will be the next Peugeot 4007.

Fiat is considering to replace its current logo with a new design to be placed on the new Bravo. Fiat has already changed its logo 16 times.
The photo of the Bravo below was scanned from a foreign magazine and appear to be authentic. It shows that the Bravo will wear the new logo design. Official confirmation will be known when the Bravo shows up at next year’s Geneva Motor Show.

For those of you who are wondering how the roof of the new BMW 3-Series Cabriolet works, Left Lane News has uploaded a video of the folding roof in action, which takes about 22 seconds to hide neatly into the trunk. It also shows how much space is left in the trunk as well as the storage in the rear.
The second video shows driving shots of the sporty new cabriolet.

On Tuesday, October 24, Toyota announced that it was recalling the Scion tC Coupe. Almost 30,000 vehicles are affected. It seems that the side airbags may deploy if the door is slammed shut when the ignition is turned on or within 90 seconds of when the ignition is turned off.
Right now, Toyota has only received 17 reports and no accidents or deaths have been reported. Toyota will send recall notices to owners next month and the airbag sensors will be replaced at no charge.
Let this be a lesson to you all, don’t slam your doors!

As you may all know, I am only 16 years old. I live in British Columbia of Canada and here, the Learner’s permit allows my age group to drive under rules and regulations, meaning that I must be accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license.
And like all drivers have experienced, I am still in the process of learning to drive. Although my skills are above average, driving is a pleasure and I enjoy every moment I get behind that wheel. Yet one thing still bothers me.
Do I always need to feel pressured when stopping at two-lane street in a red light? Why do I always feel the need to speed up when I am driving the limit whenever I look at my rearview mirror? Is the middle finger really that necessary if I am going slower than the maximum speed?
If you said yes to all of the questions above, then you are thinking of what I’m about to say. Drivers need to slow down and respect the laws of the road. Some days I see cars passing lane-to-lane without leaving any space and without flashing turn signals. How are the new drivers like me suppose to follow the rules if we are tempted to break them? How are we suppose to avoid accidents when it’s not us that’s causing them?
As a pedestrian, the signs near my school are almost never obeyed. The crosswalk is just paint that gets driven over. Every morning and after school, I’d have to wait for at least 3 cars to zoom past at 60M/PH or 96K/PH before even think about safely crossing the crosswalk. It’s ridiculous!
I’d also like to add a video that I found on YouTube to maybe help you think twice before you decide to speed next time.
I really like to see change, yet I cannot do anything. All I can do is tell you to respect the roads and help make driving fun again.
As for those who are goody-goody two shoes, I love you all and thank you for slowing down.
BMW 335i Convertible is revealed! I added 20 high resolution wallpaper in 1600×1200 and 1024×768. Enjoy! I absolutely love the 3 coupe design. It’s so sharp.

My First Impressions
The headlight cluster is definately a huge improvement over the last generation. The rear taillights are also quite attractive, with LED’s shining on the license plates. The boldness and distinct appearance of the LS definately shows with the shadows made from the night lights. However, I still do not like the instrument cluster and the center console design. The design is too busy in my opinion, although this was Lexus’ attempt to make the controls more useful, unlike the iDrive in the BMW 7 Series. A touch of blue lights does add luxury to the interior.
Major competitors of the new LS include the 2007 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Audi A8. A new BMW 7 Series is still anticipated. As for me, I would definately go for the S-Class as it offers more luxury for the money, plus the S-Class has a much more distinct history. However, if I was on a budget, I’d go for the LS. But of course, I can’t afford any of these vehicles.
Hopefully soon.

Looks familiar? It’s the Toyota Endo and it looks like Toyota is preparing itself for the launch of Smart vehicles introduced to the USA. Looking like it came from the future, the Toyota Endo features a smooth body for a distinct appearance, making it a great alternative to the vehicles currently offered by Smart.
Toyota designers say that they achieved the inspiration of the Endo from the Smart and Peugeot 1007. The Endo will feature a wrap-around windscreen, vertical tailgate, as well as a two-tone bodywork. The Endo also feature clever wide-opening doors to improve access to the cabin, unlike the Peugeot 1007. And to top Smart, the Endo will feature room for 4 passengers.
As for me, I’m not a big fan of extreme compact cars. I need my space!
Good news for Civic lovers. Honda is planning to raise the production of the fuel-efficient Civics in North America. This includes the 4-cylinder model. Also, this plan will raise more interest for the fuel-efficient Civic.
However, does everyone really like the less powerful 4-cylinder? If it was me, I’d sure choose the V6 engine. But I can be a bit greedy sometimes.

I was surfing on AutoBlog.com and I found the topic about Hertz, a rental car company, releasing supposedly “Green” cars that are fuel-efficient.
Click here to view the Green Collection.
On the list were:
Toyota Camry (Regular)
Ford Fusion
Buick LaCrosse
Hyundai Sonata

Where is the Toyota Prius? Camry Hybrid? or even the Honda Civic Hybrid? Although most of the vehicles listed achieve 28 MPG, it highly depends on where you drive and how you drive them. All of the cars are mid-size sedans, but I’d like to see some compacts or even hybrid SUV’s to make the best impression of “Green” vehicles.
But I guess these cars are harder to maintain due to the batteries, therefore, there must be more to worry about. Although these rental cars offer a good deal, there are better choices of vehicles out there, yet the rental car companies aren’t taking the full advantage of them.
BMW has just announced that the 3-series will be available in a convertible body style, featuring a hard-top. The car will be featured in the Detroit Auto Show in January and will feature two engines available for Europe. Please stay tuned for more updates and hopefully high-resolution images will be up by this week.

Another week has passed and for the week of October 16 to October 22, the most viewed high-resolution wallpaper vehicle was the 2007 Mercedes-Benz CL600. Most of the hits were from a thread someone created by linking all my pictures! Not cool, but still, I’ve made it so that any hotlinked pictures automatically watermark the CarPhotoSite.com logo, so no loss there.
Enjoy this beautiful machine!
