Redesigned for 2007 to boost safety, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety rated the Mercedes-Benz E-Class as only “Acceptable” in side impact ratings. How could this be? This high-end sedan was just introduced to boost E-Class sales, and already it did not even get higher ratings than the Audi A6 nor the Lexus GS. Even the Honda Accord and Chevrolet Malibu did better than the E. Not acceptable!

It’s official. The panoramic roof will not be an optional feature to the ultra-luxury premium sedan. Introduced this year, the new LS is set to compete with major high-end saloons such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Many of you may know already, the S-Class already has the available panoramic roof, allowing extra sunlight and a welcoming option for the rear passengers.
But why is this not an option on the new LS?

Honda has released the price of the new upcoming Civic Si Sedan. The base price starts at $21,290. Available options include the upgraded high-performance summer tires. With navigation, the price will be increased to $23,040. Not too shabby for a high-performance midsize sedan.

Good evening. I’ve uploaded 81 high-resolution wallpapers of the 2007 Honda CR-V for the European market. From what I’ve seen from the images, the European models feature a different headlight cluster, with Xenons. Also, there is an optional sunroof which is much larger than the North American CR-V.
Enjoy them!

Hint: Although this may look like a Ford, it is not.
Can you guess the vehicle where these headlights can be found? This one is a little more challenging. If nobody can get it, then I will put up a small hint tomorrow. Have fun!

It’s 9:00 PM and the night is still, another Halloween has passed, and was quite successful. However, my Halloween post was totally inactive, even though I told you guys to comment me. Thanks, guys.
Oh, well, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to voice your opinions throughout the year.
As for today, I took a rest from blogging and updating the website to enjoy the Halloween spirit. So as of now, things will continue and you can expect to see many updates and blog entries due to the SEMA show. As well, many manufacturers have uploaded their photo databases. So I’ll get on workin’.
Requests are always welcome. Thanks!

On behalf of CarPhotoSite.com, I’d like to wish everyone a happy and safe Halloween this year! May all your spooky dreams come true, and happy trick-or-treating!
Tell me what you’re dressing up as or what planning doing this Halloween! Leave me a comment, I’d like to hear from you!

For those who are new, this is just a little fun game called “Can you guess the headlights?” I think the title describes how to play. I’ve made it less obvious, therefore, more harder.

Muahaha. Can’t get it this time.

I’ve uploaded new wallpapers of the UK models of 2007 Mini Cooper and the Mini Cooper S. The new Mini Cooper goes on sale in UK in November.

I think Honda has done a great job choosing its advertising firm. I think this is one of the most tear-dropping commercials I have ever seen. The scene begins with a man lip-syncing to “Impossible Dreams” while driving the evolution of Honda vehicles. Honda has done everything in the video, from motorcycles, to the new Honda Jet, they really did follow their dream. Great music, great scenery, this is one of the best I’ve ever seen. My hat goes off to whoever created the advertisement.
Awesome.

Nissan has announced the pricing of the 2007 Nissan Altima. The starting price of the Altima 2.5 starts at $17,950 with a 4-cylinder engine and $24,000 for the Altima 3.5 SE with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Ah, yes. The Touareg. A mystery, it is. Mystery no more. Someone has posted the video to show its capabilities in off-roading. I uploaded wallpapers for this vehicle awhile back, but you may have forgotten. The Touareg was redesigned with a new front and rear, inside, it achieves minor improvements. Keep on reading to see the video.

Let me start by quoting one of the first sentences found in the press release:
“Lincoln is determined to become America’s luxury vehicle by launching the largest number of new products in the brand’s history.”
First of all, Lincoln is “determined” but will it become America’s luxury vehicle? I don’t think so.
Take a good look at these cars introduced: the MKZ, Navigator, Navigator L, MKX, and the Mark LT. Some would say that these quality cars, but some, like me, say they are not. I was never a huge fan of vehicles made by American manufacturers due to too many errors and faults in the construction.
And I know there are many that think this also, not just me. Take a look around and you’ll see many Asian and German brands, and who drives a Lincoln besides your grandparents or limousine services? I think it will take a great deal of advertising and promotion to actually make people look into these cars, or even create something revolutionary.
In the press release, I also found a lot of “we hope to…” or “we plan to…” ’s, opposed to “we will…”. It just goes to show how confident they really are about these new products.
