For Sale: Sony Vaio PCV-W30

Good day, all. As you can see, I am retiring from my computer and hoping to buy a new one. After many years with this Sony, I am deciding that it is becoming a bit too slow for my taste. As I am dealing with multimedia and using high-resolution image editors everyday, I am in need of a faster and more efficient computer. If you’re interested in buying, read on!

Let’s start with the details. This computer is great for light work, such as surfing the internet, reading e-mails, listening to music, and whatnot. But for me, I need a faster tool to help eliminate those Photoshop startup times. This is the Sony Vaio PCV-W30, and is tagged a multimedia all-in-one PC.

What’s the Price?
Well, I’m not going to stick a price here just yet, instead, I’m going to rely on offers. You can contact me if you have an offer, and if the offer is reasonable, we’ll negotiate until the price is right.

This system features 2.00 GHz with a Pentium 4 processor, which used to be the latest. It’s equipped with the Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, with 512 MB of RAM. It allows you to store up to 80GB of data, which is quite alot!

Simplicity means being simple, and this is what the W30 truly means. All you need to do is connect the power adaptor and a mouse, and you’re ready to go! On the back, you’ll find ports for your ethernet, as well as Firewire ports. There are 3 available USB slots, which is actually 2 if you connect a mouse.

On the side, you’ll see 6 extra quick buttons which allow you to launch the programs of your choice, shown below.

Keyboard keys are extremely nice to type on, with keys large enough for big hands like mine. The keyboard is quite clean, there is some visible dust, but that’s just the camera.

It’s a Sony! So you can rely on it to do your everyday job, like listening to music.

I’ve also added a free 32MB memory stick with your purchase. On the side, there is a brightness and volume adjuster for quick adjustments.

The system features a DVD-Playback and CD/R+RW optical drive. I’ve also given you the Sony Recovery DVD, which contains vital programs and allows you to reinstall anything that came with the computer. Please note that I bought this afterwards and was not included with the system.

The keyboard folds up, as you can see in the image below, which acts as a multimedia player for your music.

It will display a really cool clock!

Some more photos for your enjoyment.

Well, I hope someone is interested in buying this. It really is a good computer but it can’t handle my high standards. And like I said above, I will include a wireless adapter as well as a 40GB iPod or Canon Powershot A10 digital camera if the buyer is willing to bump up the price.

If you’re interested in purchasing, payment will only be available via PayPal. Just reply to this post via a comment with your valid e-mail and I will reply you with the details. If you have any questions or want to see more pictures, you can post a comment as well.

Thanks!
