Here is a video explaining the idea behind the Volvo XC60 Concept. One of the major ideas behind the XC60 was to downsize the current XC90 into a smaller and more versatile vehicle. My first initial impressions are that Volvo has definitely stepped up the game, however, this is a concept vehicle, and we all know that when concepts look cool, the production won’t be so rad. Enjoy the video, it actually has a lot of important information about future Volvo vehicles.

Here’s a video of BMW’s all-wheel-drive system, the xDrive, at work. There’s a lot of sliding, but the xDrive does a pretty good job considering the icy conditions the vehicles are in. Although with the sliding, it still seems to remain traction and does not fall too far off the road. The question now is: is it good enough to compete with the legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive from Audi?

Enjoy this video of the new Volkswagen CrossTouran driving through country scenery. You can refer here for high-resolution images of the CrossTouran.
One word: Fun! I saw this video on YouTube and boy, it sure looks fun to be driving like that. Although in Japanese, the video shows a race-off between major luxury marques. There was the Audi A8, the new Lexus LS460, the Jaguar XJ-Series, and the BMW 745i. I was disappointed to see that they didn’t incorporate the Mercedes-Benz S-Class into the race since it fits into the category.
Anyways, watch the video for the winner. I won’t say who, but the race was pretty close anyways. I think you know who came in last. The video is courtesy of YouTube.

So we all know that Top Gear, a UK motoring television show, comes up with all sorts of neat ideas to add entertainment to their car reviews. I was surfing YouTube the other day and found two videos that really caught my attention.
Apparently Top Gear played soccer and ice hockey using vehicles! For the soccer match, they used the Volkswagen Fox and the Toyota Aygo, and for the ice hockey session, they played using the Suzuki SX4, which we know has all-wheel drive capability. It was extremely fun to watch, and funny, I must say. I’m just surprised and glad that no one got badly injured during the games.

So this is the most stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Gigi Becali, owner of the Romanian football club, tried to open the door on his Maybach 62 after it was stuck with a couple of handy-dandy crowbars. He just kept trying, trying, and trying. It’s funny what anger can do to you. But hey, when you have lots of money, who cares what you do anymore.

I haven’t added a lot of videos lately, so here is a short commercial of the new Audi TT gliding up and down the half-pipe like a skateboard for your entertainment. Watch it glide, watch it glide, watch it glide…

There’s nothing David Letterman won’t do. This time, David Letterman dropped a 300-pound safe on a poor old Buick rental car for his late night television show. The 300 lbs safe box was dropped from the Ed Sullivan Theatre building in New York. I’m surprised that it actually landed on the car.
Anyways, check out the video for yourself. The video is courtesy of CBS.
So as you may know by now, YouTube is one of my most visited websites of all time and whilst I was surfing on there today, I came across this video of a recording of the process of drawing a realistic car in Microsoft Paint. Now we all know that Microsoft Paint isn’t really the best tool to use for image editing, but this guy is good.
Check it out and see what you think!

Super music star Jay-Z has featured the oh-so-exclusive Maybach Exelero in his new music video “Lost Ones”. It’s good to see the Exelero in action in street conditions. Anyways, watch the video but mute the sound if you hate Jay-Z’s music.

Fifth Gear tested the ML63 AMG at the Mercedes-Benz World, which was equipped with more than 500 horsepowers! This was quite an interesting video to watch considering the reviewer kept on laughing while he drove the ML63. Oh, it’s neat to hear the engine sounds of the powerful hand-built engine rev itself to life. “The best off-roader on the road”. Watch the video and see what you think.

I love these parallel-parking commercials from Lexus! They just me excited everytime I see one. I’ve posted another one over at YouTube for those interested. This was so funny when I first saw it, especially: “If you hold the bunny ears at the exact position”. Hahaha. Enjoy it.

Ford has released yet another commercial that is bound to get the audience going, “Hey! Fords are cool.” This time, the scene starts off with the police chasing a Shelby GT Mustang. Pretty cool, huh? The action stops when the Shelby stops and the driver steps out of the car, which we discover that the driver is a police officer himself.
The commercial then ends with a guy sitting in the back of the police cruiser asking: “You guys still going to take me in?” And the police officer replies, “Not yet”. Oh, classic. But why are the greedy police officers always portrayed using large actors?

I think this is the last of the Nissan videos. I guess there really doesn’t need to be a fancy tagline with this. It’s simple: Nissan + new generation of Altima + hybrid powertrain + video. Enjoy the vids.

You like the new Sebring Convertible? Well, how about a video to see it in action! The video highlights the many features of the Sebring. I don’t know why, but the Sebring actually looks better from the front without the roof, but it has the ugliest butt and rear-end I’ve ever seen. No offense, but the cover looked like it was about to fall off in the video, but I guess that can be said with all the hard-top convertibles.
Anyways, enjoy the vid.
