Hi! Haha, I was surfing on YouTube and saw this commercial once again and I completely melted. I rate this commercial a thousand stars and yes, I must reach the unreachable stars.
I fall in love with a Lexus commercial whenever I see one. I mean, seriously, you have no idea how inspirational they are and they make me want to buy a Lexus in the future so bad. I think you’ll know what I’m talking about when you see this commercial. Just for those who can’t understand the Spanish, using my small Spanish skills, they say:
“The pursuit of control…”
“The pursuit of potential…”
“The pursuit of emotion…”
“The pursuit of perfection.”
GOOSEBUMPS? Yes. Oh, the music, the words, the drama. It’s beautiful.
Update: Thanks Will for the translations.
Congratulations to Katie Crabb of North Prairie. Katie came up with the idea for the ad as a part of a class project in the University of Wisconsin. If you didn’t know, the competition focused on college students and the requirements for the ad was to focus on one of Chevrolet’s cars and crossovers targeted at the youth market including the Aveo, Cobalt, HHR, or Equinox. The 30 second commercial was directed by Bryan Buckley and was produced by Chevrolet and Campbell-Ewald.
The commercial is subtitled “Car Wash” and it’s pretty funny. You should like it too.
What do you get when you put a Ferrari and a fighter jet on a head-to-head race? You get an amazing race and you get… a winner. Can you guess which the winner was? 😉
I managed to search through the YouTube database to find this video. It shows a Humvee driving through the crowded streets of Iraq. While it may seem humorous to some, it certainly is a matter of life and death as stopping in the streets of Iraq in an American vehicle certainly means that you are suicidal. However, one side that it does show is how Americans treat Iraqis and if it’s visible through traffic manners, than it certainly is evident through behavioral habits.
Watch the video and think positive thoughts. 😛

So why do Americans build bad cars? Is it because we have no taste in cars or is it because we have no originality? Jeremy Clarkson explains in the video above that Americans build bad cars because they have no aggression in their driving and they have no sense of time and competition. While some of that of what he said is true, not all facts that he stated are agree-able. Continue reading for my little thoughts and some comparison notes against major Japanese and German competitors.
Above is the introductory video to the unveil of the new minivans from Daimler Chrysler group, or officially known as “Bread and Butter” vehicles. My first initial impressions is that Chrysler seems to be heading the right direction while Dodge isn’t. Both of the minivans sport an appearance that looks good when in action, but somehow, it just doesn’t appeal to me when they’re static. And from the side, it looks a bit like the Mazda MPV.

Enjoy this promotional video of the upcoming Hyundai Veracruz crossover vehicle. Although there are no official details of the release, we believe that new information should come in within the few days of the North American Auto Show. But for now, enjoy the video of the Veracruz fully uncovered off-roading in the country scene.
The current information we have of the Veracruz is that it will be larger than the Honda Pilot and will have more cargo room than the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class. Inside, it will offer seating for 7 passengers and have an arrangement of seating positions. Under the hood, it’s equipped with a standard 3.8-Liter V6 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Competitors to the Veracruz include the Honda Pilot, the Nissan Murano, Subaru B9 Tribeca, as well as the Lexus RX350.
I learned a lot about the Chevrolet Volt Concept and its advantages by watching this video, and I think you will too. Check out the video to watch the unveiling of the Chevrolet Volt concept, which is a new concept featuring GM’s latest plug-in technology and runs solely on electricity to power the wheels. The question now is if it will ever be practical in the every-day life. As said in the video, General Motors assumed that everyone only traveled a certain amount of distance to get to work everyday, however, there are still many who need the extra distance to do everyday errands.
NOTE: You should use Internet Explorer to view the live feeds if you aren’t already doing so. Thanks for the heads up, Nat.

Haha, I thought this was funny. ‘How to Get Out of a Car Gracefully Without Showing Your Knickers’ is what the video’s called. I think there doesn’t need to be much explanation for this. I think after the “Oops!” incident by Britney, all females should relate to this video and watch it at least once. Although I don’t think there’s much female readers on CNS, it’s a good laugh. It’s good to be a man. 😛

An exclusive teaser video, Jaguar released the small clip today to tease us of what’s to come of the new C-XF Concept and what we can expect. Right off the bat, we see a cool flipping navigation screen, which is also found on the Audi A8, in which with a press of a button, the navigation screen hides and tucks away itself neatly thanks to a few motors. You’ll also notice that when the center control knob is about to be used, there’s a cool James Bond action that takes place.
Oh, gosh. This new vehicle is actually so cool.
I’m not sure what the message across this commercial featuring the Hyundai Santa Fe was, but it was sure damn cute! Looks like Hyundai’s trying to pinpoint that the new compact SUV is so darn cute and cuddly. Babies rule my world. Video is courtesy of the user on YouTube.
Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser video for analysts and car enthusiasts to prove that the new C-Class will surpass the competition by undergoing extreme and heavy testing to simulate the everyday life of a typical driver. And boy, when I say extreme, I mean extreme. The C-Class is driven on hard surfaces, rocked up and down, even tilted to the side, any kind of torture that you can think of, the C-Class has already been through. The question now is: will it surpass the quality, build, and drive of the new BMW 3-Series?
