Above is the introductory video to the unveil of the new minivans from Daimler Chrysler group, or officially known as “Bread and Butter” vehicles. My first initial impressions is that Chrysler seems to be heading the right direction while Dodge isn’t. Both of the minivans sport an appearance that looks good when in action, but somehow, it just doesn’t appeal to me when they’re static. And from the side, it looks a bit like the Mazda MPV.

Unfortunately, Daimler Chrysler could not put wraps on its upcoming minivan, which was said to have a more distinct and sportier look. Um… scratch that. The minivans you see here seems like official images that were sent to me by a CNS reader. You may notice that many websites have already been asked to remove the picture per request by DCX, hopefully that won’t happen here.
As you can see from the images, the new design isn’t particularly that great and has an extremely boxy look to shape. The lines don’t flow like the new Honda Odyssey or the Toyota Sienna. Hopefully the interior will inspire us more. Come on, Chrysler, even the Koreans got it right the first time.

Daimler Chrysler group announced that it will recall over 68,000 of its new vehicles due to a problem with the braking system as well as a problem with the windshield defroster. Among these vehicles, they will include the new Dodge Nitro, the Jeep Compass, Chrysler Sebring, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Caliber, Jeep Commander, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Liberty.
A problem with the brake system could lead to cause drivers to lose control of the car. Among some 62,000 vehicles from the 2007 models affected, only 11 models were reported. However, a notice to all registered owners will be sent out in January. Luckily, no accidents or injuries have been reported so far.
Daimler Chrysler released numerous teaser images of the new concepts set to be unveiled at the NAIAS today. These concepts are known as the Jeep Trailhawk and the Chrysler Nassau, which Chrysler previously released sketches of earlier in November. The Nassau concept is a four-door coupe, which is similar to the Mercedes-Benz CLS, while the Jeep Trailhawk is known as a combination of the Jeep Wrangler and the popular Grand Cherokee.

You like the new Sebring Convertible? Well, how about a video to see it in action! The video highlights the many features of the Sebring. I don’t know why, but the Sebring actually looks better from the front without the roof, but it has the ugliest butt and rear-end I’ve ever seen. No offense, but the cover looked like it was about to fall off in the video, but I guess that can be said with all the hard-top convertibles.
Anyways, enjoy the vid. 😛
Wahoo. Here are the wallpapers for the new 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible, which we saw earlier today. Continue reading for the full press release. I’m too lazy to summarize details, but you can find all the information you need in the press release. Basically it’s just a convertible version of the Chrysler Sebring. I’m not a big fan of the new Sebrings but overall, I think the design is fairly okay on the inside. There’s more work to be done about the outside.
The new Sebring Cabrio has been announced and will go on sale in the UK at the end of 2007! The retractable hard top allows the Sebring Cabrio to fully stow in less than 30 seconds. The operation of the hard top can be controlled via the key fob. To fit the hard top, the Sebring Cabrio is longer by 3 inches than the sedan.

It looks like the Chrysler group has been introducing its series of “Replaced” commercials, in which a rival car is replaced by vehicles from Chrysler for comparison. It’s funny because all the vehicles replaced in these commercials are Japanese brands. Some example vehicles include the Toyota Avalon, and the Nissan Pathfinder.
Anyways, enjoy the videos by continuing reading this post. The first video shows a Toyota Avalon being replaced by the 300, the second features a Toyota Sienna minivan replaced by the Dodge Grand Caravan, and the final video shows a Nissan Pathfinder being replaced by the Jeep Commander.
If it was me, I would never choose a Chrysler over the competing cars. They have bad sense of build quality and such, but that’s just my opinions, so don’t be hating. My mom used to own a Chrysler so…
The Truth About Cars has posted the top ten worst automobiles that we can find today. Things aren’t looking very good for General Motors, as they dominate this list. Although this list is based on the readers of one particular website, please be courteous to everyone’s opinions. Continue reading for the list of winners, well, actually, losers.
It appears that Chrysler will offer $1000 off upon the purchase of the new Sebring for owners of a Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Ford Fusion, or Nissan Altima owners. This plan is an effort to make the owners part ways with their current vehicle and explore the world of Chrysler. The offer only lasts until the last day of November. Once you go Chrysler, you can never go back? 🙄
