The new James Bond, Daniel Craig, might be good at driving that Aston Martin in Casino Royale, but it seems that he’s having a bit of trouble parking his brand new Cadillac Escalade he recently bought, which is one of the biggest 4X4 SUV’s in America. Neighbors said that the British celebrity had left his wheels at crazy angles and bumped up on the pavement. Action heroes are actually human beings after all.
Chairman of General Motor’s Bob Lutz noted recently that it’d be nice to see a Cadillac and Saab vehicle added to the fast-changing crossover market. Currently, GM has three crossovers based on the Lambda structure, which are the GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook and the Buick Enclave.
The new Cadillac crossover would ultimately replace the current SRX model and built off the same platform as the upcoming CTS sedan, allowing the new Cadillac to have car-like characteristics with the functionalities of a SUV. We’ll likely see the new crossover sometime in the next 3 years.
We all know that when it comes to wagons, there’s nothing like the BMW 3 Touring. You’re wrong. The new Cadillac CTS is rumored to come with a new body-style: a wagon. But that’s not all, folks. Like the BMW 3, rumors are spreading that General Motors are planning to create a whole family of fun, including sedan, coupes, and wagons.
But first things first, with the teaser image of the CTS, it’s quite evident that the wagon will also retain the boxy styling. Because seriously, who like a boxed-up front with a rounded back? Unless Cadillac is stupid, of course.
Official front fascia of the new Cadillac CTS! Just kidding, just a poor photoshop job. That’s why you see twins in the pictures. Haha, I did my best after seeing someone else had did it. I decided to add some Xenon-tastic lighting. Yeah, that’s how professional I am. Just too professional. The grill needs to be wider on the real car instead of shown here to produce a better stance on the CTS.

General Motors announced that it will not bring the 16-cylinder fast car to the market. The Cadillac 16, revealed back in 2003 at the North American Auto Show, was believed to bring joy to Cadillac and more interested consumers. Although we love it, General Motors decided that the market was not ready for the biggest boy of the playground. Maybe we’ll see it in the few years to come.
If it were to come into production in the future, the base model would most likely be a V8, while the top-of-the-line Sixteen will have a V12. Until this day, the legacy of the revealing of the Cadillac Sixteen still lives with us, but sometimes, things are just too good to be true.
Cadillac has released an exclusive image of the new redesigned CTS. Although there aren’t any information, we can see that the grill resembles largely to the Chevrolet Malibu teaser image we posted just yesterday, which has a new bold stance and a more recognizable presence. The new CTS will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January and production will begin by late-summer of 07.

I’ve added new wallpapers of the Cadillac BLS. On the GM website, it was found on the European website, so I just named it European Version, but it doesn’t look all that different to me. Anyways, get rid of the taillights, get some new interior designs, and you’ve got a hot, sexy, car that might just do the trick.
