Samuel L. Jackson Buys Maybach 57S

Looks like Mr. L. Jackson is buying himself a new saloon and he’ll be traveling in the rear in comfort while being chauffeured around town. Together with his wife, Samuel visited Germany to receive a Bambi Award and stopped at the new Mercedes-Benz Museum and purchased a brand spanking new Maybach for 450,000 Euros, which is around 600,000 US. The only question is, why didn’t he get a 62S?

The reason for the price was because of the numerous individualizations, including a special lacquer finish in the Mercedes color Designo Mocca Black. Inside, Jackson’s wife chose a light beige interior color.

Spy Shots: Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class

Once again, more images of the upcoming GLK-Class have been spotted, with heavy camouflage. Judging by the shape, the GLK will be very boxy, as seen on many of the renderings found on the web. The GLK will be built on a platform based on the upcoming C-Class, similar to that of the X3 is to the 3-Series platform. There is a wide range of engines available, and the GLK will be equipped with 4Matic all-wheel-drive and a 7-speed transmission.

BMW Has the Best Showroom Displays

It appears that BMW has the coolest showrooms and displays, evident in a new survey. As well, Mercedes-Benz and Audi also took the spot as top 3 for having the best showrooms. Sad to say this, but I’ve never been to an BMW, Mercedes-Benz, nor Audi showroom so I can’t really say anything on this because I can’t afford those gosh-darn-tootin’ luxury cars. Oh, I Love Technology

I love these parallel-parking commercials from Lexus! They just me excited everytime I see one. I’ve posted another one over at YouTube for those interested. This was so funny when I first saw it, especially: “If you hold the bunny ears at the exact position”. Hahaha. Enjoy it.

Wallpaper: 2007 Toyota Corolla European Version

Presenting the new Corolla, which is now the tenth generation of the Corolla model. Compact sedan, people-mover, you can call it whatever you want, but I want to call it: Mini-Camry. Just because it looks a lot like the new Camry from many different angles. Although Toyota hasn’t released many details about the Corolla, we know from the press release that it will be available with a diesel engine for Europe. From the images, we can see that the interior will be a huge improvement as well, with lots of metallic trim and more high-quality materials, as found in the new Camry.

Video: Shelby GT Police Chase Commercial

Ford has released yet another commercial that is bound to get the audience going, “Hey! Fords are cool.” This time, the scene starts off with the police chasing a Shelby GT Mustang. Pretty cool, huh? The action stops when the Shelby stops and the driver steps out of the car, which we discover that the driver is a police officer himself.

The commercial then ends with a guy sitting in the back of the police cruiser asking: “You guys still going to take me in?” And the police officer replies, “Not yet”. Oh, classic. But why are the greedy police officers always portrayed using large actors?

Wallpapers: 2007 Kia Rondo

Apparently, the Rondo was already on sale in the North America, but no one knew about it due to minimal, and I mean, extremely minimal promotion and advertising. With only 2 ever produced for the North Americas. Well, the Rondo is out in the open now, thanks to its debut at the L.A. Motor Show. You can consider it as a “mini-minivan” minus the sliding doors. Numerous features are available on the Rondo, which we can see that this car is targeted at the younger market. I love it. Best Kia vehicle yet.
